Being a co-educational Institution, right from the inception utmost care is given towards the welfare and safety of female staff and students. In this regard, Women Empowerment and Complaint Committee was constituted at STC in 2006, as per the Supreme Court Guidelines 2004. It contributes in providing a suitable platform for women to share their experiences and improve themselves. The mandate of the Committee is to ensure the measures taken for womanhood in the direction of securing women's equality, status, and dignity in all matters.

Objectives
• To ensure the safety of women and empower women students.
• To prevent or deter the commission of acts of sexual harassment and to provide the procedures for the resolution, settlement, or prosecution of acts of sexual harassment of women by taking all steps required.
• To express the prohibition of sexual harassment inside the campus by notification, publication, and circulation in appropriate ways.
• To address women's issues, the WECC organizes a variety of programmes, orientations, and awareness events related to Health and hygiene, Entrepreneurship training, Women protection, sexual harassment, social rights and privileges of women of India.

ALTERNATIVE LEGAL REMEDIES
Nothing in this policy may prevent the female staff and students from pursuing formal legal remedies or resolution through local, state or federal agencies of the courts.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All complaints and investigations are treated confidentially to the extent possible, and information is disclosed strictly on a need-to-know basis. All information pertaining to a complaint or investigation under this policy will be maintained in secure files within the WECC.
WECC submits an annual report to the principal regarding the complaints and action taken by the committee.
