Both the brain and the brawn of the students should be equally trained and developed to bring the best out of them in all walks of life. The department of physical education at STC has been encouraging sportsmen by giving them professional training, coaching, competitive experiences and exposures under the direct supervision of trained and experienced coaches and sports administrators.
Our professional preparation through training brings excellence individually as well as a team. In pursuit of excellence, our boys regularly play against top teams in Tamil Nadu and other states, which provide them plethora of job opportunities as sports administrators in various departments of centre and state governments.
STC Sportsmen are committed, hardworking, highly disciplined without compromising their studies. Government organizations like ICF, Railways, Banks, Central Excise, Customs etc., prefer STC sportsmen as they have been the asset and enduring to play for long years in their teams.

1. C.Venu of I BCA represented India in the Under 19 World Volleyball Championship held at Tehran, Iran from 24th August to 02nd September 2021 and awarded as the World Second best Receiver.
2. L.Ruban of I MSW won Gold Medal (105 kg) in Asian Power Lifting Championship held at Istanbul, Turkey from 24th to 27th December 2021.
3. M.Kabilan of I BBA represented India Under - 18 Men’s Volleyball Team and the team won Third Place in the 14th Asian Men’s Under – 18 Volleyball Championship held at Tehran, Iran from 15th to 22nd August 2022.
4. STC Volleyball Players M.Kabilan of I BBA, C.Venu of II BCA, M.Deepak Kumar of III BCA, K.Gopinath of III BCA and K.Anandha Kumar of III BBA represented Tamil Nadu State Junior Men Volleyball Team for the Srilankan Tour scheduled from 30th March to 07th April 2023.Mr.K.Chandrasekaran Nair,Volleyball Coach, STC is also appointed as the Head coach of the team.
5. T.Satham Hussain of I M.Com (IB) selected to represent India in the 8th Asian Para –Taekwondo Championship to be held at Lebenon from 8th to 12th September 2023.

1. T.Sanjay Kumar of III BBA has won Gold Medal in Power Lifting (120 kg) with the performance of 847.5 kg and created a new National record in the National Junior Power Lifting Championship held at Hyderabad from 08th to 10th July 2022.
2. I.Aswalt Praveen Raj of III B.Com has won Bronze Medal (+120 kg) in the Junior National Power Lifting Championship held at Kasaragod, Kerala from 10th to 14th August 2022,and also won Silver Medal (+120 kg) in the National Federation Cup Power Lifting Championship held at Jammu Kashmir from 23rd to 26th Feb 2023
3. M.Kabilan of I BBA represented Tamilnadu State Volleyball team and the team won Runner – Up title in the 36th National Games Volleyball Championship held at Gujarat from 29th Sep to 12th Oct 2022
4. M.Kabilan of I BBA and R.Gowtham of I B.Com (CA) represented Tamilnadu State Volleyball Team and the team won the Fourth Place in the Khelo India Youth Games Volleyball Championship held at Bhopal from 30th Jan to 3rd Feb 2023.
5. A.Abinash of I BBA represented Tamil Nadu Junior Ball Badminton team and won the Winners Title in the 67th Junior National Ball Badminton Championship held at Murtizapur, Maharashtra from 30th March to 03rd April 2023.
6. STC Athlet U.RugmaUdayan of II M Com(IB) has won Bronze Medal in Long Jump with the Performace of 5.77 Mts in Khelo India University Games-2022 held at Lucknow (UP) from 29th to 31st May 2023.
7. STC Power Lifter C.Karthick of II MCom IB has won the Gold Medal with the Performance of 690 Kg (120Kg Category) in the Junior National Power Lifting Championship held at Ranchi, Jharkhand from 8th to 11th June 2023.
8. T.Sadham Hussain of I M.Com (IB) has won the Gold Medal (Under-63Kg) in the National Para Taekwondo Championship-2023 held at Punjab from 11th to 13th August 2023.
9. STC Taekwondo player S.Prasannan of the I B.A,(Eng.Lit) has won the Bronze Medal in 58 Kg, in the South West Zone Taekwondo Championship held at SJJT University, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan from 1st to 5th November 2023.
10. STC Athletic Star K.Vedhapriyan of I BBA has won the Silver Medal in Decathlon with the Performance of 5778 points in the 38th Junior National Athletic Championship held at Nehru Stadium,Coimbatore from 7th to 10th November 2023.

3. STC Organized 6th District Level Inter – School STC Founders Trophy in Volleyball, Ball Badminton,Kho-Kho and Basketball for Boys, Kho – Kho and Ball Badminton for Girls on 28th July 2023. Shri.
