In pursuance of UGC (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and Students in higher education institutions) Regulations, 2015 read with Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013,Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) is constituted to deal with the complaints relating to sexual harassment of women at workplace.

Responsibilities:

The committee shall take all necessary and appropriate action to deal with any form of sexual harassment of women at the workplace and also for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment subject to the provisions of the said Act as and when any complaint is filed by women employees working in the College. It is to be noted that sexual harassment includes any one or more of the following unwelcome acts and behaviour, whether directly or indirectly, namely:- 
1.Physical contact and advances; or
2.A demand or request for sexual favours or
3.Making sexually colored remarks; or
4.Showing pornography; or
5.Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature. 

The committee shall hold office for such period, not exceeding three years from the date of constitution of the committee. If the Presiding Officer or any member ceases to be in our employment, the committee shall have to be reconstituted with suitable replacements. The committee shall have to prepare an annual report and submit the same to the management, on completion of every calendar year.
