The Department of Physical Education at STC has been encouraging sportsmen by giving them professional training, coaching, competitive experiences, and exposure under the direct supervision of trained and experienced coaches and sports administrators.
Our professional preparation through training brings excellence individually and as a team. In pursuit of excellence, our boys regularly play against top teams in Tamil Nadu and other states, which provide them with a plethora of job opportunities as sports administrators in various departments of Central and State governments.
STC Sportsmen are committed, hardworking, highly disciplined and achieve heights without compromising their studies. Government organizations like ICF, Railways, Banks, Central Excise, Customs etc., prefer STC sportsmen as they are seen as assets and have endurance to play for long year sin their teams.

1. M. Kabilan of I BBA represented India Under-18 Men’s Volleyball Team and the team wonThird Place in the 14 th Asian Men’s Under-18 Volleyball Championship held at Tehran, Iranfrom 15 th to 22 nd August 2022.
2. STC Volleyball Players M. Kabilan of I BBA, C. Venu of II BCA, M. Deepak Kumar ofIII BCA, K. Gopinath of III BCA and K. Anandha Kumar of III BBA represented Tamil NaduState Junior Men Volleyball Team for the Sri Lankan tour scheduled from 30 th March to 7 thApril 2023.
Bharathiar University Overall Sports Ranking
STC boys secured second place in the Bharathiar University Overall Sports Ranking for the year2022-2023.This was officially declared by the University authorities in the BU Sports AGM on 17 th August 2023.
