The PG Department of commerce was started in the year 2003. It got the Best Department award in the year 2010-2011. The Department conducts a two day National level seminar every year. All the  staff members have good teaching experience and they are also the members of Board of studies at our college and acting as external examiners for Bharathiar Univeristy and other autonomous colleges. The students of M.Com have participated and presented papers in various National/International seminar/ Conferences and workshop. Faculties are giving more focus on research activities through guiding M.Com projects, M.Phil dissertation and Ph.D thesis. The above said research activities are undertaken in the area of Human Resource Management, Finance and Marketing. All the out gone students got their degrees in First Class. M.Com., students are placed in various capacities in different institutions and industries including SLASH SUPPORT, SHRIRAM GROUP, HDFC, ICICI, SHARP INFO, TCS, MUTHOOT GROUP, ILM and DELL.
