Social Workers Association(SWAN)

Social Workers Association (SWAN) was established in the year 2005. This is an Association organized by the students to undergo Professional Social Work education leading to Masters Degree in Social Work.

The Association is run by duly elected office bearers of association with Students holding positions as President, Vice president, Secretary, Joint secretary and treasurer. During the course of study all the students has members of SWAN carry out Community based Extension activities, organize guest lectures, seminars and workshops.

Since inception in the year 2005 till 2010-2011, five seminars, 20 guest lectures and 50 outreach programmes on various Social work themes were conducted.
