Career Prospects

STC is one of the leading Institutions offering AICTE approved MCA programme in the Pollachi Education District. Thirteen (13) batches of students have successfully passed out and the Alumni are well placed in the software industry at large.

The social purpose of the MCA at STC is to create capable Computer Professionals required for the industry and business from among the youth of rural and less-affordable society. To create a capable and compact human resource, one needs to develop the skills in the youth beyond the syllabus and towards the application of knowledge to real-life situation. To create effective professional skills in the youth, it is necessary to transform them into creative and capable individuals to perform effectively any task in the field of specialization. Above all, a resource is human if only that resource has the right combination of KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM and COMPASSION and skill sets at the global competing level for employment.

It is at this level, a true PROFESSIONAL evolves. The MCA program at STC is thus a process of converting the students or evolving professional experts out of an ordinary student Community. In the process of developing a capable human resource, MCA at STC adopts a unique teaching and learning system, combining theory, practice, internal seminars, assignments, etc with great emphasis on Laboratory training and Summer Project Work.

In the process of producing professional Programmers, System Analyst, Software Engineer, MCA at STC adopts over 100 hours/semester for Soft Skills, Technical and Quantitative Aptitude, Communication, Group Discussion, Seminar, Quiz, etc. MCA at STC is supported by a vibrant Placement Service. The MCA alumni of STC are placed in leading companies like Honeywell, US Technologies, iGate, Digital Mesh, Astra Infotech, Mphasis, Dexterity, HP, CTS, TCS, WIPRO, Accenture, HCL etc.
