LION M.A.VIJAYA MOGHAN B.A.– CHAIRMAN

Mr.M.A.Vijayamoghan is a graduate in Economics from Madras Christian College. He has acquired more than 25 years of experience in Commerce and Business Management. He owns many business enterprises, which deals in Telecom, FMCG, Textiles, Agro based Products, Petroleum Products, etc. He is managing a Textile Spinning Unit, Rice Mill, Coffee and Cardamom plantation and a Distribution Company.

He is the Executive Member of the Pollachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Director of Pollachi Viyabarigal Sangam. He is also a Core Group Trainer of District 324B1 of Lions Club International and also a recipient of International Leadership award from Lions Club International. At present he operates as the Chairman of Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College.

 

LION.T.SETHUPATI, M.SC.(AG.) - VICE CHAIRMAN

Mr.T.Sethupati is a Post Graduate in Agricultural Science (M.Sc., Ag.) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. On his completion of studies he has taken over the family business, which is known as B.G.group a well-diversified Marketing organisation, which represents many Multinational Companies like ITC Ltd., Hindustan Lever, Eveready Industries etc. He manages B.G group operations and also manages 300 acres of Agro farming.

He is associated as an Executive Member of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, Secretary of Pollachi Merchants Association and Trustee of Sri Kanniga Parameswari Amman Devastanam. He is also a Past President of Pollachi East Lions Club. At present he holds the position of Vice Chairman of the institution.

MR. S.VENKKATESH, B.COM.–SECRETARY

Mr.S.Venkkatesh is a Commerce graduate from Madras University and on completion of his graduation he took over the Management of the B.G.group of Companies.

He is associated as President of Sri Kannika Parameswari Amman Charitable Trust and Joint Secretary of Pollachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also a past President of Rotary Club of Pollachi. At present he operates as the Secretary of Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College.

 

MR.M.SETTU B.COM, M.B.A., FELLOW (AIMA) – DIRECTOR GENERAL

Mr.M.Settu is a Commerce Graduate and M.B.A. from  PSG College of Technology. He won several academic awards which includes the “OUTSTANDING M.B.A. AWARD’ for 1982 from Coimbatore Management Association. He operates as CEO of Syndicate Exports Pvt. Ltd. an export oriented Chemical / Refractory Manufacturing Company.
He is a Fellow of the All India Management Association and served as the President of the Coimbatore Management Association and as the Secretary of Coimbatore Productivity Council. He is also associated with CII & Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Coimbatore. He is associated with many educational institutions as Member of the Governing Council, Academic Council, Board of Studies, Advisory Board and Board of Examiners. He is also a Member of Planning Board of Bharathiar University appointed by His Excellency Governor of Tamilnadu.

 

DR.V.KULANDAISWAMY, PH.D. - PRINCIPAL

Hailing from an Agricultural family Dr.V.Kulandaiswamy had his college education in Coimbatore. His post graduation was in Agricultural Economical & Co-operation. He is an acknowledged author in the field of co-operation and had published six books in Co-operation and allied fileds. He had also published about 50 Articles and Research papers in National and Inter-national journals. He has considerable post-doctoral experience and has guided 5 Ph.D. and 15 M.Phil candidates.

He has served as a faculty for 34 years, of which he held the positions of Head of the Department, Registrar of Gandhigram Rural University and Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidhyalaya College of Arts and Science.

He has been on the Boards of Studies and Academic Council and Governing Council of several Universities and Colleges. He has been a resource person in about 40 seminars/conferences and workshops and had organised five seminars himself.
